Cooler days mean longer drying and curing times—especially for water-based paints. It might be tempting to push ahead, but rushing between coats can cause surface issues and compromise the final finish.
Always allow extra time between coats, and avoid painting if rain or frost is expected.

Painting in cooler weather? Timing is everything.
When the temperature drops, so does your paint’s ability to dry and cure properly. Most paints need a minimum temperature of 10°C to dry properly. Always check the forecast and aim to paint during the warmest part of the day to get the best finish and avoid issues like poor adhesion or longer drying times.
